Welcome to my website.

I have been teaching piano and voice for over 30 years in my Buffalo Grove studio in my home where I have 2 German grand pianos, a Bechstein and a Schimmel, a harpsichord and a clavichord and many other instruments that I play including, harp, violin, cello, bassoon and tenor saxophone and a sound studio.

My students are from ages 4 to 80 and I have taught 3 year olds. It is very exciting for me to teach students of all ages which presents a great variety of challenges from vocabulary, and insight, to stimulation and responding to their individual needs.

My students receive as complete a classical education as I can make possible with not just reading music, but indepth technique, theory, interpretation, learning different styles and backgrounds of music and composers from all periods of music, entering competitions throughout the year in the chicago area, preparation for careers in music if that is of interest, and creating an atmosphere that is exciting, fun and at the same time serious for development.
